Transformers 3: 2011

Kevin Dunn and June White will reprise their roles as the Witwicky parents in Transformers 3, reports Variety.

The pair portrayed Ron and Judy Witwicky, father and mother to Shia LaBeouf's Sam, in the first two instalments in Michael Bay's robot action franchise.

LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich and Ken Jeong are among the cast for the sequel.

Well don’t expect too many conclusions from Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, because Paramount Pictures announced that there will be a Transformers 3.

The third flick will be tentatively released on July 1, 2011, and that would fit with the movie’s release pattern. The first one was released in time for the 2007 4th of July weekend, and the sequel is scheduled to be available again for Independence Day by being released on June 24th this year.

Hopefully everything will be resolved in two years, or every other July 4th we may have a new Transformers movie to go see. While we may like Megan Fox now, Transformers 8: Pit Stop may be a little too much to take.

Bay is back in the director's chair and Steven Spielberg is again serving as executive producer on the film, which will debut in cinemas on July 1, 2011
