The History The AfterDark Network is now in its 8th year as an online magazine, having first started in 2001 my main aim and focus was to create a site where people could find quality events in the UK capital featuring concerts, theatre shows, gigs, festivals, cinema, parties & club nights.
As the founder of The AfterDark Network I have seen the
site change quite a bit over the years in its themes and layout, and though its
look and image had constantly been evolving, 10 months ago I felt it was time
to grow in a way the site had never done before, to do this it would require a total overhaul
from the ground up and a team with an abundant amount of drive and enthusiasm
to achieve the goals that I had in sight. The team is now in place, the ethos of The Afterdark Network is to bring the news,
events, fashion and music to life, And to make you the visitor a part of the
site and the experience.
Over the next 7 months we will be launching various new sections of the site and although we cant tell you about these new sections just yet, what we can say is that The AfterDark Network Team and myself are really excited about what is to come. The Word One of the sections available at the moment but still in its
infancy is “The Word”. The Word is all
about our visitors, people with something to say, write about, sing about, talk
about, the word is also our community section where you decide what the
subjects are, we will b featuring your
articles and blogs, if you want to write an article, let us know by messaging
us. The Community We aim to work with university students, professionals from
different industries, all age groups and all nationalities to create opportunities for university and
college student to find work placements with us in the various sections of The
AfterDark Network. All that is left for me to say is thank you for taking the time to visit The AfterDark Network and read a little bit about the history and future of the website, I hope you will visit us regularly to see whats going on.
