Afro Hair and Beauty 2010 was last weekend at the Business Centre in Angel. A new location for the event that is usually held at the Alexandra Palace every year. Jam packed with people, filled with various stands providing advice on hair, beauty and selling products with a slight discount but something just didn’t feel right. There didn’t seem to be as many companies there as normal, not as many freebies as usual and to be honest you could have gone round all the various stages and stands in about an hour.

The highlight of the whole event was the visiting the hair doctor who used a micro camera to assess the condition of your hair. She was able to diagnose your hair/scalp state, address any problems and provide quality advice. After that visit all that was left to do was walk around and visit the same stands you saw an hour ago. Afro Hair and Beauty is a day event but this year seemed to be more like something to so on your Sunday or Bank Holiday afternoon.
