Afro Hair and Beauty Live 2010 

Back for it's 28th year in 2010, the Afro Hair and Beauty Live show comes to Islington's Business Design Centre on May 30th and 31st. 

Now the largest paid black event in Europe it has become a celebration of black beauty on an unparalleled scale. Perfect for some mother-daughter bonding or a serious girls day out (you could even finish by seeing the new Sex And The City movie), tickets cost only £12.00 on the door (Concessions and Students with student ID only £8). 

Bag yourself a bargain in their 'Shop' area which will be jam packed with hair and beauty retailers, get your eyebrows threaded in the 'Spoil' area  and finish off with some entertainment at the 'Show' stage. 

Tutorials include weave styling tips and Mary Kay's Makeup Masterclass so maybe you could come away with a whole new look! 

Finally, don't' miss the competitions where hairdressers and barbers go head to head to find out who has the hottest scissors on the scene.
